The 135 member Allen D. Nease High School Panther Pride Marching Band has qualified to participate in the FMBC State Marching Band competition in Tampa, FL on November 20, 2010. Students and boosters are working a variety of fundraisers to cover their expenses for the trip. For liability and safety reasons, the band will travel by coach bus to and from Tampa. It is a booster goal to secure the funds of the buses through local business and individual donations and thus we have launched our “Is This Seat Taken?” campaign, which requests a donation of $49 - the price for one student seat on the bus. Your donation maintains the affordability of the overall trip and shows your community support for our school music program.
