BOOSTER FUNDRAISING MEETING MAY 8
The Booster Board will be holding
a brainstorming fundraising meeting on Thursday, May 8 to consider fundraising
ideas for next year. Booster members interested in having their fundraising
ideas considered should plan to attend and make a presentation, including
applicable brochures. Presentations will begin at 6:30 p.m. and conclude by 7:15 p.m. on May 8. Please
email Martie Thompson at martiegator@comcast.net
if you intend to make a presentation. See you then!
ART ATTACK CONCERT
BAND PERFORMANCE MAY 10
The Nease Concert Band has been
asked to perform at the 1st Art Attack sponsored by the St. Johns
County Education Foundation taking place on Saturday May 10 at the St.
Augustine Amphitheatre. Students are asked to be there by 6 pm in concert dress.
Nease’s performance is scheduled from 7 – 7:20
pm. This is a fundraiser and there is an admission for adults of $5
and students $3 (other than performers).
COLOR GUARD CLINICS MAY 13 &15,
AUDITIONS MAY 20
If you are interested in trying
out for next year’s Nease Color Guard, the 2008 Color Guard clinics will take
place Tuesday, May 13 and Thursday, May 15 from 3:30 – 5:30 (4:30 – 5:30 for rising
freshmen). Auditions will take place Tuesday May 20 from 3:30 – 5:30
(4:30 – 5:30 for rising freshmen). Meet in the band room and wear
comfortable clothing that you can move in such as shorts, t-shirts, etc. No
experience is necessary! Invite your friends too! For more

COLOR GUARD JULY CAMP TIMES
Please note that Color Guard July
Camps are the same dates as the Music Camps, but will take place in the
afternoon from 1 – 5 pm. (July 7-10 and July 21-24).
