Hello Nease Band!

First I'd like to say thank you to Jocelyn Donlan and her hardworking crew of volunteers for putting together our wonderful Lasagna Dinner last Wednesday! It was so nice to have a  "family style" dinner with our Band family and then stroll over to the PAC for the delightful performance by our talented student musicians. Thanks also go out to everyone who donated all the delicious lasagnas! All in all, it was a very festive and enjoyable evening.

The Phat 4 performs: Mark your calendars for this Saturday, December 13 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. The Phat 4, our Nease saxophone quartet consisting of Robbie Stern, Alex Bell, Michael Ha and Mike Jasper, will be performing at the Barnes and Noble at the St. Johns Town Center. This performance coincides with the Nease Book Fair to support the school wide literacy program. While you are there listening to the beautiful jazz music by The Phat 4, why not do some holiday book shopping? Be sure to tell the cashier that your purchase is for Nease!

Jazz Band practice: The jazz band will hold practice on Monday, December 15 after school!

Marching Band uniforms: All marching band uniforms should have been dry cleaned and turned in as of last Friday, December 5. If you have not yet done so, please return your uniform, hat, hat box and Belk garment bag immediately.

That's it for this week. Enjoy this brief lull in band commitments... we will be starting up in full force for concert FBA upon the return from Winter Break. In the meantime, Happy Holidays!!
