INDOOR PERCUSSION PARENT MEETING: There will be an Indoor Percussion Parent Meeting on Monday December 12 at 6:30 in the band room. Please try to attend if your child is participating. The practice and event calendar will be distributed at this time.
MUSIC CONFERENCE: Mr. Johnson and Ms. Huffman will be attending a Music Conference in Chicago this week (Tues-Fri.) Brandon and/or Philip will be running practice on Friday.
JAGUARS TICKETS and HALF-TIME SHOW: If you still need to order your tickets for the 1:00 Jaguars game for Sunday January 1, 2012, please hurry. We want to take care of this before we leave for winter break on Dec. 16. Contact Kate Blumberg to order and specify your seat preference. Our students will be performing the half-time show. There will be much more information coming out about the students' schedule for that day before the winter break.
Mr. Johnson has set a tentative call time at Nease for 9am Sunday Jan. 1. The band will be staying at the game until the 4th quarter. We are still working with the Jags to determine when exactly they want us to arrive. Look for emails as these plans become firm.
Remember that students must purchase their $30 ticket to participate, but if they sell just 2 tickets to the game, they will have earned enough fundraising money to pay for their own ticket. Contact Kate Blumberg with all your questions.
