STATE COMPETITION THIS SATURDAY 11/19
FRIDAY 11/18: Bring uniforms to school. Practice 4-6pm
SATURDAY 11/19:
6:30 AM Report to Nease
12:40 pm Warm-up
1:36 pm Preliminary Performance
We will arrive back at Nease in the wee hours of Sunday morning. Estimate: 2-3 am. Your child will call when we are about 20 minutes away.
WHAT TO WEAR SATURDAY
1. Black shorts, socks, shoes, POI show shirt, etc.
2. Wear sweats over your shorts and shirt. It will be chilly in the morning and on the ride home.
3. Bring clothes to change into later. Shoes too.
WHAT TO BRING:
1. Money. Students must buy their own dinner from concessions and it is very expensive since it is run by the stadium not FMBC. ($20 minimum for dinner and a snack). Bring extra if you want to buy a t-shirt or souvenir.
2. Blanket/small pillow for the bus ride.
3. Snacks for the bus ride.
LUNCH:
The Boosters will provide Chick-fil-A at no cost to the students. They will eat before entering the stadium.
PARENTS:
1. As of Sunday, there were seats available on the bus at a cost of $50. Respond to Judy Schless to check for availability. Parents must pay their own admission.
2. ADMISSION COSTS: $14 for prelims; $20 for finals. Children 8 and under are FREE. THE STADIUM TAKES CASH ONLY FOR ADMISSION.
3. Even if we do not make finals, we will stay for the competition
PARENTS TAKING THEIR CHILD HOME: Mr. Johnson MUST have a note by Wednesday if you plan to take your child home after the competition. Either send it in, or email to Mr Johnson by WEDNESDAY.

SHIRT SALE: We have leftover purple and black FCMI shirts for sale at cost - $5.00. Send in $5 per shirt and indicate the color and size. Put in an envelope then into black box. Many smaller sizes are available.
WINTER GUARD UPDATE

AA Guard Tryouts - TBD Week after Thanksgiving
INDOOR PERCUSSION UPDATE: There will be a music camp the week after Thanksgiving. This will be prior to auditions. Date and time TBD by Mr. Beard.
JAGUARS TICKETS FUNDRAISER: Don't forget our ongoing Jaguars Ticket Fundraiser! Please note that we are not able to process credit card orders for Jaguar tickets. We are only able to accept CASH OR CHECKS.
The Jaguars have given Nease the opportunity to fundraise by allowing us to sell football tickets to ALL of their home games. We earn $15 off the sale of each ticket we sell.
In addition, Nease has been invited to perform the half-time show at the Colts vs Jaguars game on 1/1/12. Students will need to purchase their own $30 ticket, but this easily covered when you sell your first 2 Jaguar tickets. Anything you sell over 2 is band profit - $8 to the student's account and $7 to the band's general account.
Order your tickets for the 1/1/12 Colts game when we perform soon because they are selling really well. Our band will be facing the Jaguars side when we perform the half-time show.
