Dear Band and Guard Families:

Just a friendly reminder that Friday, September 3 is our first home game against Fletcher.

The kids should wear their band t-shirt to school.

They will stay after school for a rehearsal and then eat together before the game. They will then march out during pregame activities. Remember that they cannot leave that evening after the game until they are dismissed by their section leader.

Students need to bring to school on Friday:

-Band t-shirt, black shorts and tall black socks
-Uniform with bibs hemmed
-Shako (hat), Dinkles and gloves if they wear them (newly ordered gloves will be distributed prior to the game)
-Band cooler
-Instrument

CONCESSIONS:

While our building was delivered last week, we will not be able to use it for this game. We are in need of two to three pop up tents to cover the tables and provide some shade. We will be serving off of tables outside and operating without electricity and water to the building. We also need volunteers to bring coolers full of ice for the drinks. If you can bring a tent or a cooler of ice for us to use, please email Susan Cummick at scummick(at)aol.com or call her at 304-4900.

YANKEE CANDLE:

This fundraiser is due in the band room no later than Wednesday, September 8. We will NOT accept late orders. If you bring your order in on Thursday, we will not be able to accept it. Please place your order in the container in the band room labeled Yankee Candle.
