Hello Nease Band Families,
It was great to see so many of you on Friday night. The band gave a great performance. It is just a glimpse of what they will do this season. Many thanks go out to all of those who volunteered Saturday for the Jamboree and Paw Painting. We had a good crowd and the band gave a great performance of stands tunes.
Reminders for this week:
Monday - practice from 4-5:30pm - Band Only
Tuesday - practice from 4-5:30pm - Guard only
Wednesday - practice from 3-5:30pm - Band and Guard
There will not be a practice on Friday. The football team will be away at Deland for the preseason classic and the band will NOT be traveling with them.
BAND COOLERS: Many of you received your coolers Friday night. Please put your name on the BOTTOM of you cooler. There should be no writing or markings on any other part of the cooler.
Mr. Johnson has a supply wish list. If you can bring any of the following to the band room, it would be greatly appreciated.

Fundraisers
Yankee Candle fundraiser is due Wednesday after Labor Day, September 8th. If you didn't pick your packet up at the Pot Luck dinner, be sure to get it from your folder and begin your sales.
Ads can still be placed on the trailers, however the deadline is past for the football program. You still receive a percentage of the ads you sell credited toward your fees. (Breakdown is on the website). Please get out and ask people to support the Nease Band and put ads on our trailers. The deadline is drawing near to have them finished by the first away game.
Concession Stand News
Mr. Smith is looking for HELP on Friday at 4:00 to help with PROPS for the Marching Show. Come and join the fun behind the school (back parking lot).
On Saturday, he is again looking for HELP with the concesssion stand. Time is to be determined but we wanted to send out advance notice! Thank you!
The building has been delivered to the local company, we are expecting it to be delivered to school by Monday, or at the latest, Tuesday. Several people are checking on the possibility of getting items donated to help keep our costs down. Thank you for your help! Progress should be quick as soon as the building arrives. As soon as the plumbing and electrical are completed by the school, we will need to finish the inside, so please watch for an email asking for help.
