  • Click here to fill out the student information form referenced in your 2009-2010 information packet. Every band member including guard and percussion MUST fill out this form online. The Medical and Liability Release Form (green) as well as the Parent Waiver and Student Agreement form (orange) should be filled out and mailed to Sherry Zastera in the envelope provided. Thank you!

  • The Nease Color Guard for the 2009-2010 school year has been announced! Please click on the Guard page at left to meet the team. Congratulations!

  • Check out the Band page on the left for the complete list of 2009-2010 band leaders as announced by Mr. Johnson at our Year End Banquet. Congratulations to all!

  • Dates for the summer have been announced, so make plans to attend these very important rehearsals for next season's Marching Show! Summer Music Practices (indoor) will be held in the Band Room every Tuesday from June 23 until July 28 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. These practices are not mandatory but highly encouraged for all students. Beginning Marching Practice will be held from August 3-5 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. This camp is mandatory for all incoming freshmen, all rising sophomores and officers. Marching Band Practice will be held August 10-14 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and is mandatory for all students. Please see Mr. Johnson if you already have a conflict with any of these dates.

  • Many thanks to all the students and parents who came out to help with our first fundraiser dedicated to our beautiful new uniforms! Our carwash at the Walgreen's across from the Murabella Publix in the WGV area was a big success!! If you missed the fun this time, don't worry...more car washes will be held over the summer!

  • Congratulations to all of our students who performed at State Solo and Ensemble! Ryan Leininger (12th grade), level 7 Superior with Distinction; Brian Schaefer (11th grade), level 7 Superior with Distinction; Maria Vacarro (11th grade), level 6 Superior; Meredith Robinson (10th grade), level 6 Excellent; Esther Lee (9th grade), level 5 Superior; Sydney Schless (9th grade), level 5 Superior; Quartet (Victoria Prince, Brian Schaefer, Meredith Robinson and Sydney Schless) Level 7 Superior.

  • Congratulations also go out to our Indoor Percussion ensemble who performed at Circuit Championships. Indoor Percussion had a great finish of sixth place in class Scholastic Marching AA with a score of 80.8. This was only their second year competing in a marching class. Their show was "Big Bang Theory" and was written by seniors Ryan Leininger and Vicky Prince. Be sure to click on the "Percussion" page to the left to see the latest, including a photo directory of the team!

  • Congratulations to Winter Guard who earned bronze, finishing in third place for the second straight year in Scholastic Class A competition at Circuit Championships. Their final performance of the season earned a score of 79.6. Check out the Guard page for the team's performance results to date.

  • Please remember to report your volunteer hours from May online! Click on the Booster tab to the left and then scroll down to Online Volunteer Hours Login. Remember that you can only submit the total hours for a certain month one time, so please keep track of your hours and then submit them all at the end of the month. Thank you for volunteering!

  • Congratulations to Juniors Brian Schaefer (clarinet) and Maria Vaccaro (oboe) who were selected for the All State Symphonic Band! This marks the second year in a row that we have had two musicians from Nease selected for this honor.
